Case Study

As automation solutions continued to expand across the division, individual applications had been developed independently over time, resulting in inconsistent user experiences, varying interface patterns, and fragmented navigation approaches between platforms. While the applications were functionally effective, users often had to relearn interactions, layouts, and workflows from one solution to another, creating friction and reducing overall usability and adoption.

To address this, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of the division’s existing automation application interfaces to identify opportunities for user experience improvements and visual standardization. My focus was to create a more cohesive and intuitive experience that aligned applications under a consistent design approach while improving usability for both new and existing users.

I redesigned interface patterns across the portfolio by modernizing the visual experience, simplifying navigation structures, and implementing the newest Power App components that could be consistently utilized across multiple solutions. This established a scalable UI/UX framework that standardized layouts, interactions, and workflow behaviors while still allowing applications to support unique operational requirements.

The result was a more unified and user-friendly automation ecosystem that improved usability, strengthened adoption, and created a more natural experience for users navigating between applications. The standardized framework also improved development consistency and established a foundation for more scalable automation solutions across the division.
